What Will You Do?
- Develop and follow an effective call strategy for assigned region to increase the referral outcomes of existing and potential partners.
- Reports regularly to the Regional VP of Operations and VP of Sales on the status of the plan, including progress and challenges.
- Communicates often and effectively with Regional VP and VP of Sales on goals, strategies and outcomes.
- Builds effective relationships with customers and community leaders in assigned region.
- Works well both independently and with our team of Clinic Directors, Therapy staff and Business Office staff and peers.
- Effectively presents our company information, service array, and outcomes data to existing and potential partners.
- Uses reporting and data tools to convey the high quality and clinical excellence of our team members and the services they provide.
- Identifies opportunities for publicity, coordinates community events, and attends and participates in Regional meetings as requested.
- Requires the ability to effectively present our company information including outcomes data using appropriate medical terminology.
- Other duties as assigned.
What Do We Need From You?
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in the sales field.
- 2+ years of sales and marketing experience to physicians, medical offices, employers, or related field.
- Medical/Healthcare Sales Experience is a positive.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple conflicting priorities.
- Experience working in an environment with multiple objectives.
- Confident and persuasive in guiding the sales process.
- Connects well with customer prospects.

Responsibilities:
- Operations for respective territory.
- Expected call activity is 40 calls per week. Call activity is defined as a physical, virtual or scheduled phone meeting with potential referral sources.
- Participate in monthly Workers’ Compensation Committee meetings and Clinic Director and/or Regional meetings as requested.
- Identify potential trade shows for attendance or exhibiting opportunities and schedule appropriate booth personnel. Provide expenditure to return on investment analysis for trade shows.
- Participate as a resource in development of marketing collateral territory needs with the marketing team and Vice President of Operations for guidance and approval.
- Participate in community events that would facilitate expanded knowledge of the clinics and services in the community.
- Attend local and corporate meetings as needed.
- Respond to email and phone messages within 24-48 hours.
- Facilitate networking between referral sources, employers, and field operations.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Education and Critical Skills/Experience:
- 1-3 years of sales and marketing experience to physicians, medical offices, employers, or related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in Workers’ Compensation field.
- Possess a valid drivers’ license.
- Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Attention to detail in composing, typing, and proofing materials, establishing priorities and meeting deadlines.
- Outstanding spelling, grammar and written communication skills
- Excellent telephone and oral communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interface successfully with various individuals both inside and outside of the company.

Position Summary:
Reporting into the SVP of Payor Contracting, the Payer and Contracting Analyst is a seasoned and strategic position leading high-impact contracting initiatives for Upstream Rehabilitation. In this pivotal role, you’ll assess existing agreements and spearhead the negotiation of competitive rate structures that support the organization’s operational and financial goals. Success in this position requires a solid command of contract fundamentals, along with fluency in key concepts such as standard terminology, rate structures, fee schedules, and payment methodologies.
This position is responsible for supporting the mission, vision, and values of Upstream Rehabilitation.
Salary Range: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 / year
Responsibilities:
- Contract Assessment and Review: Assess existing agreements
- Negotiation: Leading or participating in contract negotiations with clients, vendors, and other stakeholders as you spearhead the negotiation of competitive rate structures that support the organization’s operational and financial goals.
- Contract Fundamentals and Management: Solid command of contract fundamentals, including the development, negotiation, execution, and managing the entire contract lifecycle, from drafting to closeout.
- Payer Relations Concepts: Fluency in key concepts such as standard terminology, rate structures, fee schedules, and payment methodologies.
- Contract Drafting and Review: Creating and revising contract language, ensuring accuracy, and compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
- Budget Monitoring: Overseeing contract budgets and ensuring financial accountability.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, law, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in contract administration or management, with increasing levels of responsibility.
- Proficiency in using contract lifecycle management (CLM) software management software and tools.
- Proficiency in managing the entire contract lifecycle, from drafting to closeout.
- Identifying, assessing, and mitigating potential risks associated with contracts.
