JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for developing and maintaining referral relationships with Physicians and office staff throughout a defined region, growing market share in designated regions, and promoting all brands and its clinicians. The position is responsible for supporting the mission, vision, and values of our Upstream partners.
What Will You Do?
- Develop and follow an effective call strategy for assigned region to increase the referral outcomes of existing and potential partners.
- Reports regularly to the Regional VP of Operations and VP of Sales on the status of the plan, including progress and challenges.
- Communicates often and effectively with Regional VP and VP of Sales on goals, strategies and outcomes.
- Builds effective relationships with customers and community leaders in assigned region.
- Works well both independently and with our team of Clinic Directors, Therapy staff and Business Office staff and peers.
- Effectively presents our company information, service array, and outcomes data to existing and potential partners.
- Uses reporting and data tools to convey the high quality and clinical excellence of our team members and the services they provide.
- Identifies opportunities for publicity, coordinates community events, and attends and participates in Regional meetings as requested.
- Requires the ability to effectively present our company information including outcomes data using appropriate medical terminology.

What Do We Need From You?
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in the sales field.
- 2+ years of sales and marketing experience to physicians, medical offices, employers, or related field.
- Medical/Healthcare Sales Experience is a positive.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple conflicting priorities.
- Experience working in an environment with multiple objectives.

JOB SUMMARY:
The Manager of Payroll is responsible for all elements of timely preparation and accurate processing of bi-weekly payroll. The Manager of Payroll role implements payroll initiatives and projects which requires strong technical and communication skills and the ability to simultaneously manage tasks to meet Upstream’s standards and deadlines. The Manager of Payroll will partner with various departments including Accounting, Human Resources and Benefits to achieve these goals. This position is responsible for supporting the mission, vision and values of Upstream Rehabilitation.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 3-5 years of progressive experience processing and managing multi-state payrolls
- Strong sense of urgency and ability to handle a high volume of data with confidentiality, accuracy and discretion
- High attention to detail, organization skills, excellent customer service skills, teamwork, ability to work independently and as part of a team, capable of handling changing priorities effectively, ability to interact with a wide variety of candidates, associates and vendors.
- Requires advanced computer skills to include web-based products and data management software.
- Accommodates to changing situations with ease.
- Strong decision and problem-solving skills, interpersonal and communication skills, both verbally and in writing, with the ability to clearly and effectively communicate information to internal and external audiences
- Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously and see them through to their completion.

JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Responsible for managing the payroll process for all associates in the organization, including the timely and accurate processing and balancing of data, updating and maintaining proper records, the reporting of information and the disbursement of funds for the net payroll, payroll taxes, garnishments and related items.
- Analyze, prepare and input payroll data. Ensure timely, accurate payroll processing with minimal errors.
- Process off-cycle payroll as required.
- Review quarterly/annual payroll tax reports and W2s.
- Responsible for communication and coordination with payroll vendor regarding system issues and corrections. Facilitate any changes or additions to payroll system.
- Ensures compliance with all federal, state, local and organizational rules, policies and regulations as they apply to employment and payroll and tax administration.
- Works in conjunction with the payroll vendor to ensure accurate and timely payroll tax filing.
- Implement new regulations and policies and changes to benefits as applicable to payroll.
- Work closely with all departments to ensure accuracy in associate pay and financial reporting.
- Develop new payroll reports as requested.
- Recommend and implement efficiencies to improve payroll processing and associate satisfaction.
- Respond timely to payroll requests and resolve associate issues.
- Drive process improvement and automation efforts to streamline payroll operations.
- Ensure continuous development of payroll policies and standard operating procedures.
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the payroll team.
- Responsible for performance management and hiring and termination of associates within the payroll team.
- Coordinate training for new associates on the payroll team.
- Set up and maintain state and local taxes with appropriate jurisdiction and within the payroll system.
- Coordinate required quarterly report submissions.

Upstream Rehabilitation is looking for a Sr Payroll Administrator to join our team
JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for providing high quality service to our associates to include all aspects of the payroll process, time keeping and associate education. Will be responsible for bi-weekly payroll processing, garnishment processing, federal and state compliance, and review and reconciliation of final payroll submission. Will assist with quarterly payroll corrections and year end W-2 review and reconciliation. Also responsible for completing special projects as assigned. This position is responsible for supporting the mission, vision and values of Upstream Rehabilitation.
DUTIES AND RESPONSABILITIES:
- Must maintain the highest levels of confidentiality for employment-related information, particularly in the areas of compensation and payroll.
- Provides excellent service to all candidates for employment, associates, vendors, and guests.
- Responds to email and phone calls within 1 to 2 business days, with the appropriate level of information.
- Assists all associates or directs them to the appropriate party for assistance.
- Maintains a positive and professional manner at all times.
- Ensures compliance with all federal, state and organizational rules, policies and regulations as they apply to employment and payroll administration.
- Ensures compliance with any garnishment, tax levy, or child support order.
- Encompass an overall understanding of all aspects of the payroll process and how each part of an associate’s pay profile will affect the outcome of payroll processing.
- Responsible for managing the payroll process for all associates in the organization including appropriate FLSA assignment, federal, state and local tax assignments, garnishment setup and deductions, bonus payments, compensation adjustments, corrections as needed and reporting.
- Ensures timely, accurate payroll processing with minimal errors.
- Handles prior quarter adjustments to make corrections to an associate’s pay profile throughout the year.
- Assists in W-2 review and reconciling at year end.
- Provides education and information to associates and leadership as requested.
- Responsible for communication and coordination with payroll vendor regarding system issues and corrections.
- Manages time keeping system to capture time according to Federal and State regulations.
- Provides initial and on-going training to associates and managers on proper use of time system and communicates frequently re: pay cycle closing dates and other expectations.
- Responsible for entry and maintenance of all associate data from new hire to termination within HRIS and reporting as requested. Ensures data is accurate and current.
- Takes a lead role on team to periodically audit associate data to review and reconcile any corrections that need to be made.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- College level degree or equivalent work experience required
- 6 to 10 years’ experience in Payroll Administration at a Senior Processing level
- Thorough knowledge of the complete payroll process to include compliance with federal, state, local laws, garnishment processing, status and wage adjustments, bonus payments, and final review and reconciliation of the bi-weekly payroll
- Able to take on a lead role with others on the same team
- High attention to detail, organization skills, excellent customer service skills, teamwork, ability to work independently and as part of a team, capable of handling changing priorities effectively, ability to interact with a wide variety of candidates, associates and vendors
- Requires advanced computer skills to include web-based products and data management software
- Accommodates to changing situations with ease
