Upstream Rehabilitation, is looking for a Manager, Strategy and Analytics to join our team

Position Summary:

The Manager, Strategy and Analytics will be responsible for partnering with cross-functional stakeholders throughout the organization to: design and develop standard analyses, reports, and dashboards; provide summarized insights in the context of key business decisions derived from developed analyses; and conduct exploratory data analysis to answer critical business questions or advance key business development initiatives. This individual will be primarily aligned to analyses that inform growth strategy, sales team effectiveness, and operations performance. The Upstream Strategy and Analytics team works on cross-functional initiatives that focus on growth, clinical quality, technology, and care delivery transformation, as well as special projects for Upstream leadership. This position is responsible for supporting the mission, vision, and values of Upstream Rehabilitation. 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Produce standard data sets, reports, and dashboards to inform business decisions.
  • Develop ad hoc analyses to answer key business questions.
  • Proactively contribute to identification of opportunities to enhance analytics offerings to drive business value (e.g., acquisition of new data sets, production of new types of analyses, etc.).
  • Serve as trusted partner to interpret complex data sets into actionable insights for senior leadership.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional leaders to understand critical business needs that could be informed by data and analysis.
  • Educate and onboard colleagues on the application of data, reports, dashboards, etc. to inform business decision-making.
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 3+ years of healthcare analytics
  • Critical thinking and analysis, attention to detail, organization, customer service, adaptable to change, time-management, adept with modern analytics tools (knowledge of SQL, Alteryx, PowerBI, Python or equivalent tools that allow for manipulation of large data sets)
  • Familiarity with healthcare services or interest in learning
  • Preference given to candidates with backgrounds in consulting and/or corporate strategy
  • Exceptional communication skills – oral, written and presentations.
  • Highly proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Ability to travel up to 5% of the time.
