Hello, future University Recruiter extraordinaire! We’re looking for you to join our world-class recruitment team at Upstream Rehabilitation, the largest provider in the US dedicated to outpatient Physical Therapy!
** While this is a remote position, we are looking for candidates based convenient to a major airport in one of the following states: Texas, Kansas, Arkansas, Missouri, Colorado, Washington, Oregon, or Utah **
As an Associate University Recruiter, you will play a vital role in attracting, engaging, and hiring top talent Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, and additional Clinicians from Colleges and Universities across the country. You will work in lockstep with the broader recruiting team and our Operations Leadership to deliver on early talent recruitment strategies, execute campus recruitment and branding events, and ensure a seamless candidate experience.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Campus Engagement and Relationship Building
- Partner with the Operations, Recruiting, and Student Programs teams to develop and maintain strong relationships with key university stakeholders, faculty, student organizations, etc.
- Develop and maintain knowledge of assigned universities – what are critical components of the curriculum? How can employers get in front of students? Who are the contacts to engage with at the school? Utilize this knowledge to develop and advise on creative engagement strategies to recruit students from strategic universities.
- Event Coordination
- Plan, organize, execute, and attend student recruiting events, including career fairs, information sessions, networking/social events, educational workshops, etc., to promote Upstream as an employer of choice. Scope includes event booking, collateral management, marketing material creation, database updates, budget tracking, etc.
- Maintain advanced visibility to all event details on a central calendar and oversight/tracking of event budget/spend.
- Partner with Upstream Clinicians and University Liaisons on local event strategy, preparation, staffing, and communication.
- Stakeholder Collaboration
- Work closely with Upstream University Liaisons/Operations Team on our student recruitment efforts; establish and maintain trust from these key business partners.
- Support Operations Leadership in understanding regional student recruitment strengths and weaknesses; partner with Recruiting Team and serve as a consultant to develop and implement solutions to enhance student recruitment.
- Provide relevant Stakeholders with timely status updates, report-outs, etc. related to your assigned territory of strategic Colleges/Universities.
- Candidate Sourcing, Screening, and Communications
- Proactively source and identify potential candidates through various channels including events, social media, and job boards. Create a pipeline of university talent in support of our national recruiting efforts.
- Support ongoing candidate “nurture” communications and campaigns.
- Data Management
- Maintain accurate prospect records in the CRM and track campus-specific metrics.
- Maintain accurate event metrics to support our recruitment strategy.
- Collaboration and Innovation
- Work closely with the Recruiting and Student programs team, University Liaisons, and Operations Leadership to continuously improve the campus recruiting process.
- Think innovatively to propose new, engaging ways that Upstream can attract student talent.

What You Need to Bring:
- Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree
- 1 to 2 years of experience in event management or recruiting, preferably in campus recruitment
- Ability to travel ~75% during peak recruiting season
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written.
- Demonstrated ability to navigate challenging stakeholder interactions with professionalism and composure. Capable of building strong relationships with diverse stakeholders, including students, team members, and Senior Leaders.
- Excellent organizational skills, time management and attention to detail: You’ll be responsible for driving multiple projects and initiatives at a time
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Demonstrate professionalism and client focus in all that you do
- Desire to contribute to a positive candidate experience and interest in working with early career talent
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and the ability/willingness to learn new software applications
- Willingness to be coached and an open mind to keep learning and growing!
- Ability to operate in ambiguity
- Candidate must be able to submit verification of their legal right to work in the U.S., without company sponsorship.
Bonus Points for:
- Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment software (i.e. CRM) - knowing the Greenhouse system is a plus
- Familiarity with LinkedIn Recruiter functionality
- Knowledge of the healthcare industry – physical therapy or otherwise
- Knowledge of current trends and best practices in campus recruiting

NW Sports Physical Therapy, a brand partner of Upstream Rehabilitation, is looking for an Athletic Trainer to join our team in River Road, WA

Primary Responsibilities:
- In accordance with the applicable state laws, rules and regulations, the licensed athletic trainer provides athletic training services to local schools, community events and or organized sports.
- Provides athletic training services in accordance with established contracts.
- Possible clinical responsibilities based on location.
- Works closely and collaboratively with all members of the sports medicine team.
- Works closely and collaboratively with supervising / team physicians.
- Provides sports medicine consultations to coaches, athletes, parents and others.
- Conducts athletic training / sports medicine workshops, as requested.
- Maintains daily treatment records and documentation on patients.
- Effectively communicates with all members of the sports medicine team, patients, family members and coaches.
Qualifications:
- Current athletic training license or eligible in state of position.
- Current certification by and in good standing with the Board of Certification.
- Demonstrates competency in applying the principles, methods, materials, and equipment used in athletic training.
- CPR Certified
- Strong decision and problem solving skills, interpersonal and communication skills both verbally and in writing and the ability to interface successfully with various individuals.
- Flexibility with scheduling and willingness to work nights, weekends and holidays.
- Excellent organizational and listening skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
